About Dr. Harshiv Karia

Dr. Harshiv Karia is a prosthodontist and Assistant Professor at UConn Health School of Dental Medicine, specializing in digital dentistry, dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, esthetic dentistry, and evidence-based prosthodontics. He is an expert in digital dental workflows, CAD/CAM dentistry, intraoral scanning, guided implant surgery, full-arch implant rehabilitation, digital smile design, porcelain veneers, smile makeovers, and zirconia restorations.

Dr. Karia completed his BDS at Queen Mary University of London, earned his MPros from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and received his Certificate in Prosthodontics from the University of Pennsylvania as a Thouron Scholar. His research focuses on digital prosthodontics, implant outcomes, and modern approaches to complete mouth rehabilitation.

He is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the International Team for Implantology (ITI). Dr. Karia is an emerging leader in digital prosthodontics and cosmetic dentistry in Connecticut, combining advanced technology with evidence-based care for dental implants, full-arch restorations, porcelain veneers, smile makeovers, and complex rehabilitative dentistry. He serves patients in Farmington, West Hartford, Hartford, and throughout Connecticut.
